is there a way to back this up?!?
maybe admin can simplify the data dump by giving you a file that only contains your and TheFraz's posts from this thread, without all the extra comments from everyone else.
Another option is to use the "Print" command on the File Menu of your browser, then where you can select which printer you want to use, the drop down menu includes an option to , "save as PDF" (this lets you save the PDF without printing).
Or, some browsers have a File Menu option to "Save As", or "Export as PDF", which will also create a PDF you can save to your computer
the downsides to these PDF saves, is that it will only print or save the page you are looking at, at the time.. so essentially you would have to save all 77 pages of this thread, as separate files.
There are programs that can automate this process. If you google "how to save a forum thread" you will find numerous instruction threads.. I find them very challenging, they involve using programs I do not understand.
Another way to save your posts, would be to highlight the content of one of your posts, then use the Copy command and then paste into a text window.. you would have to scroll through all 1500+ posts and do Copy and Paste for each one that interests you..
It could be simplified by first doing a search for posts by your username in this thread only, like this:
https://www.candlepowerforums.com/search/2507977/?t=post&c[thread]=461094&c[users]=TheFraz,+speckacuda&o=relevance . Then open each post (about 200 posts), and copy and paste it to a text file in whatever wordprocessor program you like to use.
this would be very tedious..
I hope you find a solution that works well for you
