I wonder if you could modify it to use larger battery packs. If you could that'd be sweet I sometimes mountain bike around all night in the dark and that would help.

That's a pretty cool looking bike light. Looks small enough to hand carry easily in an emergency, too.

In the early 90's I used to do about 100 miles a week, but traffic has gotten so bad here I don't ride anymore. New stuff like this is enough to get a middle-aged flashaholic like me back on a bike, tho'. Sweet.

I like the look of this. Is that black collar thing removable?

Any beam shots?

I hope the shock resistance is good if this is intended as a bike light. I wonder if will survive if:

a) It falls off the handlebars (this has happened to me before)

b) You crash/fall off your bike (also happened to me - LED light smashed into pieces)

c) You hit a large bump and have no suspension

How much would the bulb cost to replace?

Whoa That's Nice! Will have to check that one out locally if it's available. Maybe can do a side-by-side with the other competitors, such as Light and Motion and NiteRider.
