1274 @ 9 volts: yes or no?

The WA 01274 is rated at 7.2 V w/ output of 553 lumens @ 2.77 amps. At 8.4 Volts the output is 948. Could the bulb handle 9 volts without flashing or other unwanted caracterisitics? Thx.

Too much overdrive IMO, only rated 2.7 hour life at 9V -> instant flash territory.
