My question has to do with the actual outer diameter of the spacer itself. I'd like to be able to run a 17500 cell in a 2x123 body bored for a single 17670. With a 15mm spacer I'd be able to do just that, but the spacer I referenced is for charging purposes and does not have a protective heatshrink or similar exterior coating for use in lights. My bored body is already a pretty tight fit for the 17670 cell.
Does anyone own one of these 15mm spacers and can they comment on whether they've used them in lights or not? I do have some heatshrink in the garage but I'm afraid that it will be a bit too thick when applied and will not fit in the body itself.
