First of all, since the first of the year become hooked on lithim Ion cells. But all I've got are 4 cells rated up to 2600maHrs. With all the "green" technologies going, surely by now they gone above the 2600maHrs ceiling? Right?

p.s
To date I've never had any trouble with Lithium Ion cells, although I do have concerns for my first winter using them.

I believe AW's 2600mAh 18650 cells are the highest capacity quality cells available to the general CPF user right now. Other cells may claim higher, but are probably overrated or of lesser quality.

Li-Ion cells may not perform as well in the cold, but I believe Lithium primary cells will continue to work.

Thanks for the feedback, right now 2600 is giving me more than I ever hand in runtime. The brands I'm using now are UltraFire and Tenergy and all I can say is so fare so good. There's anothe brand called AW I want to checkout, they sound like top-drawer stuff. Comments?

chiphead...lithium ion newby.

You can only pack so much into li-ion. And believe me it's advanced in terms of power density quite a bit. Though I doubt it's gonna go much higher without a significant change in chemistry or construction.

The genuine non-protected Panasonic 18650's are about 2750 mah as tested on my Schulze rig at a rate of .1C discharge. Found them on Ebay from a member here, don't remember his user.
