The standard bulb is an incan, I'd like to try something else, but the 18v is a weird voltage. I was thinking of using a 12v MR16(50w) or MR12(20w), or maybe and LED array of some sort. Would a MR16 burn out, or should I limit it with a 1/4 watt resistor of some value?
Anyway, this is the idea I'm working on. If anybody has any ideas to add, or knows of an LED solution, I'm all ears.
I think the tool lights have a great potential for hacking.
