I bought a 2xAA McClickie pak here.

It had been on my list for a long time, ever since the wave opened. But as soon as my paypal would be up, something would catch my eye and I would skip it. A few weeks ago I finally got my hands on a Malkoff M31. It was time for this pak! :naughty:

I placed my order, and as usual, Don had it here in FL from half way around the world in 3 days. Wow.

This pak is awesome. I put my Haiku head on it with Eneloops, it seems just as bright as running the 123. Incredible.

What a breath of fresh air to have some Ti that is not CR123 based!

This 2 x AA tube is skinnier than the 123 tube, also the flutes are wider than on the 123 pak. The result is a tube with a nice grip that is easy to wrap all four fingers around at once, while the thumb easily activates the McClickie.

With the tube and Eneloops and the Haiku head on, it has a very satisfying heft to it. My goodness I like this setup!!!

It carrys easy in my weekend shorts pocket.

I have tried the M31 in VME (hope to see Ti VME soon!), the E1B head, the sundrop 3S head, and the Haiku head. They all work great!!

This will probably bee my road trip setup, as AA's are everywhere. Ah who am I kidding, we all bring more batts than necessary when we travel dont we?

Anywho, I just wanted to do a short review, if your on the fence, go for it!!!

I use the same setup with the Haiku head for the simple fact that it looks stunningly beautiful.
For that I even use AA batteries. :nana:

I can't decide which body (1xCR123) to use sometimes, they are both stunning.

Boy, PSM - you sure are late to this party! :poke::nana::D

I keep my Haiku on my 2xAA w/Eneloops for atound the house use. It's a great looking combo, as has already been mentioned. I don't care for it as my EDC, so the Haiku XP-G 1x23 is still my primary go to light.

I love the feel of the switch and the balance in great in the hand. I use my pak with a Sundrop, UV Sundrop XR-U and E1E!
