2018 GMC 2500HD

Sorry for the long post. My.phone keeps adding blank lines for some reason......

Adding photos from a phone/mobile device always seems to be funky.

Nice pics. Did you lock the camera settings or was it auto adjusting? If they're locked, the low beams seems fairly decent, but the highbeam seems a bit lackluster. Light bar is up high enough to not totally wash out the foreground, it looks like.

The light bar adds literally 0 foreground light, makes distance vision much better.

Unfortunately i didnt lock the settings, my phones camera appears smarter than i.
However the pictures are actually fairly representative of how it appears too me on the road.

The highbeams were pretty lackluster. I aimed the headlamps up another inch or two after these shots and they are a bit better now. But the low beams are such a major improvement with the addition of the lightbar i dont particularly care about the highbeams performance lol. They only situations i get too really use them are off road anyways.

Rigid fogs are getting PPF installed and i am still on the hunt for oem foglamp mounts for this thing.

Per company application guide your truck is not listed, (as well as the vehicle of potential interest in my household). Were you able to figure out how to mount them?

Also interestingly if my memory serves me @-Virgil- did mention Morimoto on (very) rare occasions as potential legitimate headlight replacements. (Which you mentioned looking into)…

I was concerned about how you'd mount the foglamps after reading this. For me with poor fabrication skills I'd probably scratch my head, not install them, and put the vehicle back together. (In fact that's exactly what happened even with the Toyota specific bracket for my Sylvania ZEVO LED Fog DRL. I had to order the mount from Amazon.es or some other EU country, and still couldn't get it to mount on our '12 Prius v. Eventually I was successful on my '14 Scion iQ but…)

Glad to see they are in!

Yeah, this actually turned into a larger problem than i anticipated. Dealership wanted 280/side for foglamp mounts. I called every wrecking yard in Alberta and couldnt find any, finally found a set in prince george bc for 150/side + shipping.

The driver side foglamp is relatively easily adjustable. Reach up there with a wrench and you can loosen it off enough too slide it around.
The passenger side foglamp is impossible too adjust without removing the bumper. Which is kinda a PITA. Knowing what i know now i would have gotten the morimoto fogs which are a more oem like adjustment. And i probably would be in them for a similar dollar figure.

Too clarify you can just twist on the rigids too adjust the up/down and rotation. However if they contact the beauty bezel rigid includes with the kit before you get them aligned 100% you need too loosen off the bolt and slide them around in their slots too allow them too continue adjusting properly. Dr side is easily accessible. Pass, not so much.

After much cursing they are aligned properly.

It's a little late because you already got them, but for future reference www.car-part.com is a valuable source for used parts. That is cool that the lamps are designed to mount with OEM/factory mounts. (I did not know that, thank you).
