3023 Buckpuck in 6 cell Mag?

I want to do a Seoul mod to my 6 cell using the 3023.

Can I get opinions if the 3023 will be a good match for the setup? I think it will, but if I'm missing something, please point it out.

Should I go with the 700 or the 1 amp version? I want good usable light, with really good runtime. Not really trying to build a spotlight, but an all around usable light.
