3AA to D charging in holder

is it possible to charge the 3aa in the holder using a D size battery holder and smart charger :thinking:

it depends on the charger
I know there are dedicated chargers for 6AA all the way up to 12AA, but I'm not sure if there are ones for 3AA...

also, to a certain point of charging in series, take it apart and charge cells seperately to ensure there are no imbalances

i am thinking if it is possible of charging them as a pack of heat shrinking them in to the holders for use in my 2D mag terralux upgrade 6AA in two 3to d holders

I assume that the D adapter holds 3AA in serial then yes it can be charged but not in parallel configuration.
