I wish I had one of these when I needed some small plastic parts awhile back.
The results look like they're sturdy enough for light use as emergency replacements for broken nylon gears in VCRs and laser printers.
I have one of their (or competitor) product results.
A Rook with an internal staircase. Pretty freaking amazing.
They used some sort of laser to solidify a slurry.
Harry N and I saw a similar product at Techshop (www.techshop.ws). It used coils of plastic in a manor similar to an ink jet, building the part one dot at a time. When sanded to final dimensions, the parts looked pretty good.
