I'm not sure about memory mode.

I didn't consider Fenix TA30 because with a only 18650 it delivers 370lm according with the web site.

Milky makes a 500 lumen Roomsweeper, that will run off a 18650. Only comes with one setting, bright.

I think I've only seen one 18650 Room Sweeper. And that one was a modded E2D head on a very-hard-to-find FiveMega custom body.

I've got one of Scott's E2E Room Sweepers that runs off of one 17670 cell. That's typically over 600 lumens out the front.

Like LEDninja mentioned a small 1x18650 light would get quite hot running it on the highest setting for extended time. I'm not sure my self how useful a light this small with this much power would be. My m20 warrior premium will get quite warm running the hightest setting for extended times @ 250 lumens. The m30 Triton "a larger light" seems to dissipate the heat much better than the smaller light and it's 700 lumens. I have run it for 20-30 mins continuos and it was not uncomfortably warm.
