6-8 bay 18650 chargers?

I have alot of 18650's and I'm using an older 2 bay Pila that takes it's time but does a great job. It has 1 led over each bay that turns from red to green.

I am looking for a great quality charger to just top off a bunch of my cells at once. The more cells I can do at once the better.

Are there any good 8 bay 18650 chargers? I will find a good 4 bay if I have to but I'd like more than that. Also are there any chargers as good as Pila chargers? I know Pila has a 2 bay out that is better than my current one, it has a top cover and more status LED's.

Also since I am here, is my current Pila going to be good for IMR 18650's?
I am 90% sure it will be but I'd just like backup on that.

Sgt, this is the problem we ran into long ago...mainly with there not being multi-bay cell holders...leading to modding the Voltcraft in this thread. I have a setup with my Hyperion 1210i & two 6s LBA-10 balancers so I can charge 12 cells at a time that will all be balanced.

You pretty much are going to need a RC Hobby type charger to meet your needs, and the cheapest way to go is the DN/Tenergy or Cellpro 4s charger. Another option is the eStation BC-6, but you still need a holder/cradle system for the cells.

Yes to your other question. The Pila IBC works fine with safe LiMn IMR cells.

If your charger is the Pila charger that came out before the IBC you may want to double check to make sure it will work with the IMR cells. I can't be sure if that charger relies on the protection circuitry in the batteries to terminate the charge. I may just be thinking of the Wolf Eyes charger which I'm sure works that way. If it's the IBC model then it should work great with the IMR cells.

Yep my Pila is pre IBC.
Been thinking of replacing mine with the IBC but only 2 bays stink. Sure I'd buy 3 of them if they were cheaper but at that price I think 1 will have to do.

I am sure it is worth the cost since all reports have it as the best but I wish it had at least 4 bays. :sick2:

Yeah, the only Pila charger to use is the latter IBC model. As I said, the limitation of charger bay slots has not been addressed. Most RC users have LiPo, or make A123 cells into custom packs with JST connector. Hence the Voltcraft link.
