My 6P Defender, KL3 and A19-type extender arrived today so I tried some lego and beamshots this evening. The crenelations on the Defender bezel make interesting patterns at the edge of the beam.

The output of the KL3 and Cree are identical with 2 or 3 cells as far as I can tell.

All shots F6.3 1/25th sec, ISO320 and using fresh cells.

Surefire 6P Defender (standard P60 bulb), I was surprised how much brighter than the A2 this is.

Nice beamshots! Run both your 6P/P60 and A2 for about 10-20min. and then tell me which one is brighter :sssh: The P60 is damn bright for it's first 5-10min or so, then it's output starts to fall off rapidly. The nice thing about that A2 of yours, is that it will remain that bright for it's entire ~50min burn-time.

I just got a LF EO-9 today for my C3, cell extender, and 2x17670's. Up till now, I have always had my KT2 with an MN16 on my C3/A19 body. I figured I would try one of the EO-9's to play with my original C3 bezel. I must say, I really like it! Even though it's the same length as before with the KT2, it's much easier to carry since the head is SO much slimmer. And the output is awesome! I get about 325 lumens out the front on fresh cells, dropping to about 275 after the first 5min. The beam is very impressive, although I am still waiting for darkness tonight to test it outdoors.

I think with how much I like this set-up, I may have to leave it this way. I think I will pick up one of the leef 2x18650 bodies for my KT2 in a few weeks, as I have been wanting one anyways. Then, I can upgrade to the MN21 from the M6 so I will have 500+ lumens out the front. It will never stop! :grin2:

Great to see all the differnt shots with the 6p, I'm hoping to order an XM-L head soon to max out the lumens it can do!
