Just put together all the new pieces and all I can say is Wow. I used a 6P body and stock twisty tailcap (Z41) coupled to a KT-1 turbohead. Then I plugged in an FM MN adaptor and loaded up two of AW's IMR 16340. That's when the fun stopped. I forgot to order any bi-pin bulbs. I had several WA1160's lying around but never considered them cause they are rated at 5 Volts so I consulted LuxLuthor's Incan Destructive Bulb Tests and figured all I got to loose is a bulb, right?
I don't recommend this setup cause the bulb is way overdriven and the batts are probably working their little butts off which makes things less than safe.
However, this sucker is bright. No, its not brighter than my 6D ROP but its getting closer.
Thank you FM for all your great ideas and torch parts.
Thank you AW for your great batteries.

The Complete Machine
Control Shot of Range: All pics f5.0, 1 sec, "Flourecent" white balance!
6D ROP. Hot off the charger!
Turbo Headed FM'd AW'd 6P with used batts.
Runtime is only a few minutes but it is an impressive few minutes. I've not run the batts down below 3.5V yet which helps keep my runtimes short.
Trees are only thirty'ish feet away but both lights go way beyond the trees.
