Hi guys, greetings form South Africa.
I need some advide on which charger to buy, La Crosse BC-700, La Crosse Technology BC-9009 or the energizer ch1hr. Choice of chargers is extremely limited here, the ch1hr is the most advanced I've found locally. The La Crosse's are only available via Amazon USA order.
So questions:
1)Is the 700mAh max charge current on the BC-700 too low for Eneloop 2000mAhs?
2)Would this low charge current handle larger capacity batteries -GP2700s?
3)How reliable is the charge termination in this charger with below 0.5C charging?
4)Have the meltdown problems with the BC-900 been solved or just been hidden?
5) Price wise is the BC-900 worth 50% more than the BC-700? (R624.00 vs R430.00)
Thanks a lot for any advice you guys can give me!
Matt
