I've been a lurker on this site for about a year now.. I've been doing some of my own flashlight testing with some various torches I have. I've also have been reading up on the test results performed by CPF board members..
I would like to know what people would like to see most in the comparison tests I will be doing with the following lights-

TK11 R2 w/ 18650
Olight M20 Warrior R2 w/ 18650
Fenix P3D Q5 Premium w/ 2 RCR123
Fenix L2D Q5 Premium w/ 2 AA
Surefire 6P Malkoff M60 Drop in w/ 2 CR123
Maglight M60 Malkoff drop in, Stock Incandescent, and Stock LED version
Walmart Multi LED mechanics light w/ AA
Trustfire RE-803 Cree Q5 w/ 1 RCR123
Streamlight ProPolymer LED version w/ 2 AA

I do not have the ability to measure lux per meter at this time. I also do not plan on doing any white wall testing.

Give me some pointers on how you'd like the tests to be conducted... and what to cover..
Some of my own ideas include an excel sheet comparing price, throw, hot spots, flood, black rings, weight, size, feel, upgradeability, build quality, advertised lumens vs actual visible/useable light, and special features..

Beamshots would be a great addition, but they do take a good amount of time though. A list would be great too, along with your personal opinion.

Thank you for doing those comparisons!

A good way would to be in a room with many colorful items, take the light, point it to the ceiling, and take pictures of the room using the ceiling bounce.

I'm looking forward to your tests. Good luck!

-Current draw measured at the tailcap, and a time duration for when output drops to %50. If you can't plot output graphs this is the next best thing IMHO.
-Outdoor beamshots, with targets at measured distances. Use google earth to measure distances.
-Ceiling bounce comparisons, to compare relative lumen output without the influence of beam pattern.
-Fixed setting photos and a tripod are a must. The biggest mistake noobs make is taking pics using auto-settings on their cam.
-If you are doing a detailed review, list 5 things you like and 5 things you dislike about each light.

Surf the reviews sections, ernsenata, selfbuilt and many others have excellent reviews.
