LOL same thing happen to me, i was ordering lights faster than they can ship them to me.
if you like your fenix lights, definitely look into other brands, a couple of my favorite made in china brands are jetbeam and quark. then theres nitecore, olight, eagletac to name a few of the larger makers.

My first "real flashlight" was a couple years ago after finding this place. Like you it was a Fenix (and many here), a P2D/L1D combo pack. Still have it and love it, but there really is a world of lights beyond the reliable, efficient Fenix line.
You did start out on the right track. Many of us started out trying junk off of ebay:whistle:, then out of frustration sought out CPF.
I would read a lot of reviews, we have outstanding contributors here reviewing every light of interest to flashaholics possible. Selfbuilt in particular has got them down to an art form and has many cross reference charts on lights in the same catergory / class.

I think it is easy to determine if you are on the way to addiction or not. Ask yourself : How many lights do I NEED?
That would be ONE light, which you always carry, period.
OK, perhaps you need a second light, in your car. Period. Well, if those two are smal lights, you may need a bigger light as well. Period. Thinking it over, you may noz have a thrower yet, or you still miss a real flooder? Buy (one of) them and you're done!
Best is however, having a light on each floor, so you may buy one or tow more, but then period. While you are at it, buy a second one for your car, it's for emergency. Then there's still one for your backpack (or two) and your sportsbag, good to have a light in there. You also need rugged lights with two modes only and some multimodes or programmable ones. Don't forget a neck-light and if you're not living alone, think about your relatives, they may need a few lights as well...

In the first time, I really acted in my thoughts like described, searching for a reason for each new light. Of course, I had to give this up as soon as lights stood around in my nightstand. I then looked for "better" lights than the ones I already had and "completely different lights". There came a point, where this became not really possible anymore.
So, I now have to accept it, I'm a flashaholic, I buy lights like others buy stamps, watches, Barbies or whatever that can be collected. I once made the mistake to count my lights, that was several month ago, I was very surprised about the result, even frightened. No counting anymore, not even approximately guessing! My money became much easier to count however... :shakehead

I am on my way to being one, having bought 5 lights in the past 2 months. My wife tells me I need help all the time "your looking at lights again?" she says. I always justify my purchase by telling myself I don't have a good flood light, or I don't have a small light, or a spotlight. Its all just self justification lol.
