Another DIY mountain bike light

First post, but wanted to give back to the forum. I have spent a bunch of time recently reading threads here in order to learn what I needed to know in order to build a bike light for 24h mountain bike racing.

Anyway, I'm happy with the outcome, so I thought I'd share. I documented the project on my blog, so please take a look if you're interested.

I like your idea of bending open a tube and epoxying neoprene inside it to clamp to your handlebar. I will have to try that as a helmet mount. Thanks for the writeup.
