Any info. on the Duracell value charger?

Walmart sells this charger for $17. It's compact and comes with 4 LSD pre-charged batteries. I don't know anything else about it.

I'm pretty sure it's a "dumb" charger. OTOH, the Duracell Mobile Charger is a smart charger and seems to be decent from what I've read here at CPF.

Thanks for the reply. Apparently there are many versions of this value charger. The one Walmart sells comes with 4 LSD batteries. The one listed does not have LSD batteries.

The Value Charger is indeed a simple timed charger. I've been using the Duracell Mobile Charger for a few months and it does an awesome job. I've got a few new ones for sale on the Market Place for $18.00 each if your interested.

I might be interested. It appears bigger than my current charger. That could be a problem cos my bag is full enough as it is. I would appreciate it if you can measure and list the dimensions here so I will know if I can fit it in my bag. Thanks.

5" long, 3" wide, 1 1/2" deep. For some reason the plug is detachable which makes it 1 1/4" deep. The plug also folds down out of the way. I can send you some pics if you PM your e-mail to me.
