4sevens...anyone??

:) Lost my L0D and looking for an excuse to buy a D10! Has anyone heard any news about the upcoming pocket clip for these lights?

I wish some of these flashlight manufacturers would learn how to make good pocket clips, more like the clips found on folding knives rather than ball point pens. I prefer belt sheaths over everything, but wrist straps are a pain. They should all have clips that let users detach one part of the wrist strap from the longer portion.

I duck into computers, read serial numbers off of motherboards and various cards, and all I need is a strap hanging down into the works.

It's amazing to me that Dell Computers and other manufacturers put tiny numbers on items (often upside down) on their products. I've taken clips on flashlights such as this one (below) and attached them to wires so that when I worked on computers, heat coils, whatever, I could see what was going on. I'd love to see a similar clip on a Fenix E01.

This little guy was accidentally thrown into a washing machine, then the
dryer until the sheets were thoroughly dry. It was hot as a firecracker
when my wife handed it to me, but it still worked. The battery soon after
failed, and I had to relubricate the threads and washer (only one). Not bad
for a $13 light, eh?

I'm also waiting for the 4sevens clip, but until then I'm making do with this setup.

The clip is from a ROV sportsman extreme 3watt I got on closeout at Walmart.

As soon as I got it home, the clip leapt off the ROV and has been happily living on my EX10 since.:grin2:

NICE. On clearance? Probably don't have them here then. :(

It might be worth checking your local walmart. From what I've seen on CPF over the past months, walmart puts items on clearence at different times across the country.

When my local store had the light for half off its original price, a store just 100miles away had them for 25%off.

It'd probably be worth letting your fingers do the walking and phone before going to any stores, the price of gas being what it is.

Also, keep an eye on the good deals section in CPFMarketplace. Thats where I got the original tip.

That "Walmart" clip is a decent option, but I am not a huge fan of those styles of clips - I prefer something that is either screwed to the body somehow, or integrated into the "joints" of a body, a la the Novatac 120p.

Hope this thing makes an appearance soon!!

4Sevens you NEED to get that clip up for sale, I cant seem to convince myself that i need a D10 if theres no clip for it but if there is a clip for it......

Perhaps 4Sevens should just run a pre-order on these so that we can ease our minds:grin2: I don't have a problem paying for something that may be a week or so out.

Yeah really want this clip! 4sevens said it will be for sale in 10 days like 20 days ago!!!!(not trying to say anything negative, I know hes a great person/businessman)

From what I understand it's not 4Sevens fault. Nitecore is producing the clips and they are taking longer than originally thought.

4Sevens was just telling us what he thought was the expected date at the time. He made another post somewhere that it was a Nitecore delay and that they would be on the site asap once he had them.

I keep checking the site hoping to get lucky and see them there. :candle:

I just saw on the 4sevens website that the clips are coming (text pasted below). They're already listed under Nitecore accessories at $8 each. Woohoo.

EDIT: Make that $4.50 each if you've already bought a D10 or EX10.

We've just received word that the Nitecore OSRAM GD+ D10 and EX10 lights are on their way to us. Also, the Nitecore D10 clips have just shipped to us, so we should be receiving them by early next week!

Thank you all for being so patient as we've been waiting for these items to arrive. The Nitecore EX10 clips should be shipping very shortly, and we're expecting to receive them by the end of next week. Keep checking back, as we'll post an announcement as soon as we know more.
