that is what I am working on now....not sure what to do with it. everything I have tried is not yielding any results(power increases in wattage to the bulb). I am not awesome with electronics troubleshooting but I am trying 
Maybe we can keep this in the other thread that is going on this topic and together figure something out. In that thread they refer to another HID based site where people are modding OEM auto ballasts too but I could not find it

Good luck managing the heat without forced air cooling or a MUCH larger finned heatsinking added.

If you guys are willing to deal with the heat thing like XeRay remark.
Post picts from both sides of the open ballastm maybe somebody can give a hint where to solder what.
