Anyone tried colored HID bulbs?

I was looking around for a 4300K bulb for my Stanley, and noticed that some crazy colors are available -- in addition to the 2kK-30kK CCT range, they also have pink, green, and orange (all marketed for cars... :ohgeez: :shakehead), and I got to thinking about trying one in my spotlight. Obviously any of the colored lights will have terrible CRI, but the actual brightness might be decent, for the green bulb, at least.

Since my HID is a toy, not needed for actually seeing things, I'm actually considering a green bulb for cool's sake. Anyone have experience or data on the green (or other color) HIDs? I preume they're clear, using different gas mixtures? (I'm not interested if they use dyed envelopes...) Head-to-head beamshots and/or lux measurements against any CCT-rated bulbs would be great.

There are variations of white that can look greenish, bluish, pickish, etc, but all of the very distinctly colored ones have tinted glass which also reduces output.

Hm, I'm picturing a dozen or so in green and white on a length of ~30' of cable, strung on the front of a house.. about 40,000 lumens of christmas cheer..
