ARC AAA LE

My 3.1 LE arrived today.

See this thread for some beam shots comparing it to a 3.1 standard, and an "EV".

I just recieved my LE two days ago.And comparing it to my 3.1 I'd have to say that the 3.1 beam has a bluer tint,while the LE has a greener tint.Also the 3.1 has a smaller, slightly brighter hot spot,but the LE hot spot is almost twice the size.The LE appears to be a little brighter,but just slightly so.The LE is also easier on the eyes IMHO.But that's with my samples,can't speak for any others.I really like both lights and don't regret buying either.

They never seem to stick around here very long. I lost count of how many I've purchased - long ago.
I'm down to a piddly twenty or so. In fact I just had to order a couple more recently to finish a project. They are everywhere in and around my home. In the cars, the night stands, bathrooms, etc. You can never have too many.

No, I didn't buy a new LE. In fact, I've sold or given away all of my LE's save one. My CPF SE is my EDC. (say that three times fast!) Lately my Arc money has gone toward LS's

Interesting Darell, nice to give rather then hord 'em.

Also I am in for a LS, still holding up on the LE, since my stanfard Arc AAA v2.0 has been solid.
