I have a AAA LED light that is the same look and size as the ARC AAA (including head) except that it has 3 LEDs. The head resembles the Inova X5 except much smaller. There are no markings on it as to manufacturer or country of origin. It is at least twice as bright as the ARC AAA so it is the one I carry. The problem is I would like to obtain another, but I can't remember where I got the one I have. I know I ordered it out of some catalog or another. I have searched the web high and low and cannot find anything that even comes close.

Has anyone else seen such a light or knows where to get one.

The Flashlight that you are talking about is a Peak Led Solutions Flashlight. You can find more information on this light at. http://hometown.aol.com/peakledsolutions/myhomepage/business.html
You will also be able to see a few samples there. ( Top Secret: FYI /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifTHE LEDS ARE CUSTOM 5mm NOT 3mm. )

If you would like to purchase another at this time you can contact the company direct at [email protected]

We look forward to more opinions on our up coming release of LED Flashlights.

Dallas, do you happen to know any pricing info on the lights? They look very nice. Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

VERY interesting!

Looking forward to seeing some CPF specials..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif

Specs? Runtime? Output? Pics of tail?

The unit does not look nearly as 'refined' as Arc, but I'd be curious to learn more.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drool.gif Beamshots! Beamshots! Beamshots! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Looks real nice and nice job, Dallas! Anymore juicy technical details for us? BTW, did you say more than 350 different LED lights to choose from on your site? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/faint.gif Looks promising! Am looking forward (as others here as well I'm sure) to May 17th! Good luck!

The 350 lights doesn't seem suspicious, even if it is 350 types rather than inventory. If they will be having a [ QUOTE ]

I do find it odd that JimH in his first post describes a flashlight not available to the general public, makes it sound like a viral marketing attempt. On the other hand, why bother with the subterfuge? They could just as simply have posted the light and beamshots to begin with.

I think there are CPF policies that would not allow them to advertise directly unless they were sponsors. Thus we see this fake Q&A thread.

You almost have to wonder if the product isn't actually manufactured by PhotoShop. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Photonboy, I sensed that something was up with this as well. We've got a new member number 7010 singing the praises of a light we've never seen before and member 7014 joins the same day and says he's making them. If he's talking about 350 lights being available, that's believable. If he's talking about 350 different models being available, then he probably just missed April Fool's by a few days. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Think maybe policies changed this year?

The restrictions on selling on CPF will be lifted. Any and all dealers and manufacturers will be allowed to sell in the Dealer Forum. In addition, all CPF members will once again be allowed to "plug" their favorite dealers... whether in posts or siglines.
