So I got some tiny aspheric lenses from Crenshaw and I was going through my different lights with them. You can clearly see why some of them don't have as nice of tints as others. You can see where the phosphor is not on parts of the LED die itself so the blue die underneath is showing through. The P3D and Ti Quark didn't want to take very good pictures. I guess they're not as photogenic as the other 2.
NDI XR-E Q5 that has a bluish tint (I wonder why? )
P1D XR-E Q5 that has a nice tint
P3D XR-E Q5 that had a purplish/bluish tint till I got some red epoxy around the lens and now it's pink tinted
Ti Quark XP-G R5 123^2
Oops, sorry about that Taschenlampe. I guess I moved the wrong one when I edited the P3D picture. Should be fixed now. And the tint is awesome on the XP-G. It's a nice white that is ever so slightly warm...kind of vanillaish. I like it the best out of all of them.
