Just received my first led-flashlight from dealextreme the sku.15739

Unfortunately, i think the p7-emitter is burnt or something... When i first inserted the 18650 batteries, the flashlight had a nice cool light. Now the emitter has a more yellowish tint from 3 of the 4 parts in the p7 led.

I think that the yellow tint isn't normal.. or am i wrong? maybe it is burnt? There is a large amount of light coming out from the flashlight but its most yellowish.

here is a picture from the emitter

There is no doubt that you received a defective flashlight. Sorry man, hate to be the barre of bad news. Fortunately, DX has a great return policy. If you take pictures of the defective torch they will (hopefully) send you a new one without you sending yours back!

Oh, and :welcome:
