I have been off of the forums for a while but have obtained an H30 and need to know the best place to get the rechargeable batteries for it. I have read in several post that rechargeables seem to be the best value for these lights but need your comments on suggestions on what and where to get some batteries for my upcoming trip with this cool little light. please chime in

Re: Zebralight H30 batteries

Lighthound. Go with the AW protected. You can also buy direct from AW in the CPF marketplace.

Re: Zebralight H30 batteries

What I have experienced is that the Fenix store has the fastest shipping and orders over $25 you have a cpf discount I will look for it I think its cpf8 for an 8% discount will post later

cpf8 is a valid entry for an 8% discount (I needed to buy a couple things and it worked fine 5-31-08) good luck have fun and be safe

+1 for both Lighthound and Fenix-Store and I also put my full trust in AW batteries - I have AW RCR123's, 14500's, 17670's and 18650's and all are working perfectly. I've made multiple purchases from both shops and you can't go wrong with either shop.

One small note: Lighthound's AW prices are a bit lower but they charge for shipping, Fenix-store prices for AW RCR123's are a little higher but they don't charge shipping. I consider it a wash in the end as both offer great customer service but, if you're penny-pinching, you can work out which will be a bit cheaper.

Re: Zebralight H30 batteries

so the batteries and charger combo from fenix would be a good start? Without getting to technical would this allow reasonable run times?

Re: Zebralight H30 batteries

waumpuscat, figure roughly 1/2 of the stated runtimes, which are for CR123 primaries, when using RCR123 Li-Ion rechargables. I'm running 100% rechargable in mine (just cheap DX ones).
