Hi Guys,
Now I have ordered my first (decent) flashlight (Fenix TK12) but now I have some questions about it.
How about the batteries? When seaching the internet I found a lot of different types of batteries. How I'm sure I dont screw my Fenix?
I read about people blowing up their chargers etc. so I want to do it safe
The Fenix uses RC123A-batteries :
Are "17340 / CR123A Rechargeable Lithium LiFePO4 batteries" okay?
- Rechargeable LiFePO4 17340/CR123A 3.0V 350mAh Battery
- Working Voltage:3.2V and Peak Voltage: 3.6V
- Charging cut-off voltage: 3.6V
- Discharge cut-off voltage: 2.2V
Yuo can use 18650 batteries with the Tk12-extention. How about the voltages etc? I don't know much about batteries.
What should I buy? Also for the chargers : I have the UltraFire AW-138.
When I would buy the extention (and want to charge the 18650's) what would be the 'best' charger? the AW-139?
I hope you guys can inform me a bit, I'm new to the whole flashlight-thing so don't be too rude
