Hi. I have a Acro/Maxtel X990 where my NiMh 4,5Ah battery pack has become sick.

Does anybody know what kind of battery cell's I can use to replace and where to buy it?

I wonder if i can use som kind of LiPo 3S or 4S, what kind of voltage does the light suport? would be nice with a LiPo 4S pack 14,8 volt and 5000mAh. I already have a nice charger for Lipo that i use with my RC heli. Then i have to solder in an chargeplug for the balancer.

Or if anyone know where I can get an original battery for a nice price, then speak up. Becouse its dark here in norway and its hunting season.

Hey cool! I also use my for hunting also, only these days it's usually from the 12V lighter socket cord in the truck. An alternate battery chemistry for the X990 has been a dream for many a CPFer for a couple of years now but there has never been any practical way of making that work. The HID choices got better and many are now available in li-ion, which left people without the desire to get into any extensive battery pack modding.

Regarding original packs these dealers still sell them.

I'm just not sure what you consider a good price but I think they're a bit expensive for that type of pack.
