Well....let me begin by saying that maybe I had a fluke I don't know. A friend of mine gave me a streamlight nightfighter (1st model slightly used) to use when I first started at the Police Department a few years ago that ran on CR123 batteries (first time I ever heard of this battery ) bright light, really!
I put two brand new batteries in the light not long after I got and was amazed at how bright the light was---since in my neck of the woods MagLite was top notch. A few days of not using it I grabbed and tucked it away in my 5.11 pants to carry for work (nightshift). That night I grabbed the light to use it and it died within fifteen seconds. I thought to myself hmmm....bad batteries I guess. I went and spent $10.00 on new batteries that night. Next day was my night off and I didn't go back for three more nights. When I started back, once again I put the nightfighter in my pocket, this time when I turned the light on......NOTHING.....not even a faint glow from the bulb. After a third set of batteries I knew it was the light.
So my guestion is anyone ever had this problem and how would you go about fixing it if you could?
