Battery life with Brinkman "Million Max?"

How long will the 6-volt battery last on a Brinkman "Million Max" spotlight - with continuous use?

I'm sure that Brinkman lights are bottom of the barrel for most people here but the price is right and we're looking for an inexpensive spotlight to use around the ranch. We use the Brinkman "Mini QBeam Spot" (4 D batteries) with a lot of success, but I thought the recharchgable and replaceable batteries might end up saving us money, in the long run, over buying D-cell batteries. The miniQ gives us a heck of a lot of run time for just 4 D-cell batteries.

If you can recommend another inexpensive spot/Q that puts out 200,000+ Candlepower, that runs on batterries or is rechargeable, and lasts longer than the Brinkman lights, PLEASE let me know - and provide me a link, if you can!

Thanks so much!

Is this the one with the removable 12V battery pack? I found one of these recently at Target on clearance that will also focus from spot to flood. Not sure of the battery capacity but it comes with an H3 75W bulb installed. Taking a wild guess, I'd say maybe 20 minutes continuous?? Good question.

Cool a fellow bow hunter!

Hey, I think you stated 6V but the link for the million Max shows that it's a 12V light. Either way the run-time is probably about the same at 20 minutes or less, usable since those batteries are usually pretty small.

The rechargeable D's have good capacity so if they're working for you I'd stick with them. If you need some more run-time yet, then perhaps look at some LED spotlight options.

If you need more light the Vector Power On Board HID is much brighter and decently efficient. They'll typically run for over an hour without gradually decreasing output like the incan spots.
