I am looking for a super thrower L.E.D flashlight. The Tiablo A8 Q5 looks interesting, however i would like to know what the beam profile looks like at a distance.
I have a Surefire 6P with a P60 drop-in module which i bought from Ebay reportedly rated at 270 lumens. It has a smooth reflector which focuses the light into a small bright hotspot, and therefore has a bit of throw. When i shine it at a distance i notice that the middle of the hotspot is not as bright as the outside. Can anyone tell me if this is unique to my unit or whether this applies to super throwers also. I was wondering if any Tiablo owners could help me on this or anyone else who owns a super thrower.
