Best led dropin for 4d Mag

What is the best and reasonably priced dropin I can use in my 4d Mag. I am mainly interested in improving the magled I have for flood. Source of dropin would also be helpfulThanks for any help.

I would say Malkcoff Devices would be the defacto standard around here for a high quality drop in. I just ordered a drop in for a 3D cell mag and it is impressive. Malkoff Devices is also a reputable dealer.

If they are out of stock for your mag i'd sign up to be notified when new stock is available. IMHO it is worth the wait.

I have an older generation 4 D cell Maglite that originally came with the Luxeon LED. If you have the latest generation one with the Rebel LED, then you are out of luck as far as a drop in upgrade bulb. There are none made for the Rebel LED Maglites.

The Malkoff Devices drop in for the 4D cell Maglite only fits in the incandescent and Luxeon LED models. It has not been available for something like forever and a day so good luck getting or finding one. I looked at one for my Maglite and I got sick and tired of waiting for a few months so I bought the Terralux TLE-300M-EX instead.

I signed up for the email notification on the Malkoff Devices website to be alerted when the drop in for 4D cell Maglites would be available again. It has been a few months and all I've heard in my email inbox is silence.

If you want one of those Malkoff Devices drop in upgrades, you must be *EXTREMELY* patient.
