Ok, fellow flashaholics, this is the first place i thought of when my boss came to me this morning. he said "your a flashlight guy right?" well ive been tasked to find our security force new flashlights, he wants them to be LEDs and he wants them to be around $100 but no more than $150, i realize this may be too cheap but i wanted to see what everybody here thought.

thanks in advance for any input.

To that list, you can add the:

DBS w/2SD module: http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=171053

and the

CL1H w/2SD module: http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=170818

If one want to use rechargeable 18650's, those lights with the 2SD modules would be the way to go. Be aware, however, that using CR123's with those modules will damage them. If a person preferred to use CR123's, those same lights can be ordered with the 2SM module which will also use the 18650 rechargeable, but the 2SM's performance is best with CR123's.

Wolf Eyes Guider. Get the 2 level option. Pacific Tactical is the place to go. Contact Mike at PTS about setting up an account and you get a CPF discount.

The Guider is a sweet light. And it comes with a nifty little compass in the tailcap. Can't do better than that!

OK, despite the hokey compass, it's a seriously good light and well worth looking at. Bright, smooth clean beam, simple user interface. Built like a tank.

Howdy guardpost3, and welcome to CPF,
Be sure and spend a bit of time browsing our forum to help yourself become acquainted with the many light options available in that price range.

Here is one that was specifically designed for and recently purchased by the LA police department:

And here are a few more flashlight review sites for you to look at:

If you do a search of CPF, you will probably find other lights that are recommended by the many officers who are members here. Happy hunting.
