After quite easily making it to 100 posts I am now a flashaholic. I have to say there should be higher titles for the experts that have been doing this awhile and have hit the 500, 1000, 2000+ milestones

The fact that someone has 245,678,429 posts doesn't make them an expert. Some sites allow posts to be rated. Perhaps if someone has 100 posts that people find valuable, that person would be at Level 1, 500 valuable posts at Level 2, etc. Reasonable?

Maybe, instead of relating the number of posts to the poster's level of expertise, it'd be easier to relate it to their level of flashaholism. Example: 1000 posts could signal the designation of "crazed flashaholic", 2000 - flashaholic lush, 5000 - absolutely nuts about photons...etc...

BTW, I'm not trying to change the system, I just felt like posting in this thread. For me, everything is just fine the way it is.

I prefer the titles the way they are. It's more about what they are saying and how it relates to the individual reader than ratings, join date, title or number of posts. By the time I made "flashaholic" I wasn't really checking the number of posts anymore.

As long as the person loves Flashlights, the number of posts should not matter.
After all its not a competition,

Very true, but sometimes you get people who are post hogs and try to gte that number as high as they can...But the good members have productive posts!
