I did this Maglite in powder coat, (dry powder sprayed with an electrostatic spray gun, then heated at 400 degrees for 10 minutes to bond the powder ) This finish is not as hard as anodize, but is much tougher than paint. The cost would be $42.50 This would include shipping by priority mail in the US with delivery confirmation. International shipping would be additional. The powder coat can take the heat - most paints will have problems as they get hot. Being as they cure at 400 degrees - the power is very stable.

I mask off all the threaded areas, the powder coat goes directly over the anodize finish, I do rough the finish with a scotch brite like pad.

(I can do different size lights as well. I have some other colors available - let me know if you want something different.)

PM me with your request and I will send you paypal information. First I'll take it in this thread gets it. Payment with in 24 hours or it goes back up for sale.

If you live outside of the US- don't send any money yet - I will have to figure out what the additional postage will be for international, not responsible for lost shipments

This is a light blue color mixed with BLUE Glow in the Dark powder.
The entire light glows, it is very faint, very unusual looking.

I'd like a glowing standard knurled AA, as bright a glow as you can make it. Surprise me with a color.

Thanks!

got it -

by the way - the glow does in fact glow, but it is faint, That may be because where I check them out has a certain amount of ambient light.

Are you using the Glow, Inc. Ultrabright glow powder? That stuff is SHOCKINGLY bright. The green glows very visibly when freshly charged, even in indirect sunlight. In darkness, it casts shadows and I can (barely) read with it. I bet with some experimenting, you could get some dramatic results. It might be worth looking into clear bases for the glow powder. I bet the opaque reduces the glow quite a bit. Very promising mod, will!

The glow powder coat came from a company in Canada, they sell fishing supplies. This is not powder that gets added to epoxy, it is powder coat that has to be heated at 380 degrees to cure.
