Brightest LED drop in/simple mod for MAG 2/3 C cell?

What would that be? I tried to use the search function but all I got was fatal error results. So could you guys please enlighten me? Thanks in advance....

I'm also not against sending my light to a fellow cpf'er to have it modded; I really like the look of the 2c and I want to get one in its brightest possible configuration or atleast close...

Some of the members are making 3 and 4 led set-ups with the 2 c-cell. Very bright, but I can't tell you how to do it. There are also plenty of extremely bright single Led lights on the market from $30 to $200. Lumapower has several excellent models, and Wolf eyes has some new Cree drop ins for their lights that are potent.

This one, http://batteryjunction.com/tle-6k2.html is probably the easiest drop in with good output. I have two of them and they've been outstanding.

You might call up Battery Junction because I believe they still offer a 2 or 3 cell Teralux with boosted circuit for mags with less than 4.5 volts.

The TLE-6EX/B seems to be the one you want.

TLE-6EX limits the current / TLE-6EX/B boosts the current to maintain optimal performance from 2-3 cell Maglights.
