Ok so I am completely new to flashlights and have been reading the forum for a little over a week.

I currently own a Browning K2 tactical hunter that runs on two CR123A's and just purchased a Fenik TK11 R2 and ordered some protected 18650's from TEnergy.

To my question:

Can I use the 18650's in the Browning and can 18650's be used in any application that previously used two of the CR123 batteries.

Thanks,

I do not know about the Browning, but lights has to be made for 18650, before they can use them, they are much thicker than CR123 and a 18650 has considerable lower voltage than two CR123.

To answer your question ...

It depends very much on the driver the light has ..
Most are 3v - 8.4v or 3v - 6v ..
So as long as the body can take a 18650 , ....
Now this is not a hard and fast rule .
But the short answer is yes , as long as the 18650 fits . [ with the odd exception ]
