I have three generations of C-LE lights that include the second version of the 5-mode, the 6-mode with the beacon locator mode, and the 5-mode with memory. The 6-mode works fine with 14500 Li-ions, but I fried my 5-mode with memory light.
I did the same thing :shakehead with my first DX X.V light after Kyle reported that he used 14500 cells in his personal X.V. Can these lights be fixed or perhaps modded? Thanks!
