can anyone mod a SF-A2 to use Nichia 083 High CRI LEDs?

I don't think the Nichia's will fit.The only way I know they're available is through McGizmo,and they're mounted on stars.

Until they're available as emitters,why not use one of the high CRI Seoul emitters.They are the P4 format,available as emitters,and someone had a thread recently where they put a Seoul P4 in an Aviator.Some of the tower modules have also used the P4's.

They can be driven to 800ma,which equates to 120-140L for the S2 bin,the highest flux bin I have been able to find.
