Can anyone recommand a buck driver for P7?

I have a ssc P7 led currently installed on my maglite 6C, and I have the KD P7 buck driver installed to use with either 6x NiMh/primary C cells. But what I have found is that the "temp sensor" on the KD driver to be way too sensative that it jump back to low from 1-2 minute of use on high! :sigh:

Does anyone have any solution in solving this problem with the driver?

Or can anyone sugguest a good buck driver that accepts a voltage range of up to 16V+ (hope to add the option of Lithium battery)? and it has to fit into a mag C tube of cause :shrug:.

Have you heat sinked the driver?
I use it to run 4 Q5's ( 2p2s) in a mag at 1400ma each from 8 NiCd cells so its running twice the normal voltage out. It very seldom switches to low due to heat.
