can i buy teflon wire in a hardware / electronics store?

There's a fellow CPF'er on the Custom and Modified BST section selling small lengths of teflon wire.

Never seen it offered in a regular hardware store. Maybe at a larger electronics-specific store?

FWIW...

I've found it packaged (can't remember the brand) in three foot lengths at the local hobby stores with the RC parts.
