I was listening to Howard Stern yesterday and one of his guests was John Popper from Blues Traveler. Anyways, John is a big knife/gun nut and he was telling Howard how he was searched before entering the studio. The last time he was on the show he held a knife to one of Howard's producers(as a joke of course). He mentioned that although they found all his knives they still let him through with this "neat little light with teeth on the bezel" Howard asked him why anyone would want teeth on a flashlight and Popper responded by saying it made an excellent weapon to bonk people on the head with. In fact, he claimed he once used it on a rowdy homeless person in NYC...or something to that effect. It was most likely a Surefire E2D. Not sure if he frequents CPF, but I know he's around some of the knife forums. If your reading this John...great rendition of Imagine!

I got a kick out of it and thought you might too.

I herd him on the Howards show also and have Howard TV so when they air that episode I will let you know what light he has with him. I wouldn't be suprised if it is a Surefire E2D.

Weird Al is a known Regular on another forum I belong to. But no one knows his User name. Angelina Jollie collects knives. Wouldn't be surprised if she has a BladeForums account.

The nice thing about internet forums is, you could be the biggest celeb in the world; but you can post and discuss topics with like-minded folks and not have someone drooling over you.
