Hi, been fiddling around with cheap diods from ebay so i have a decent understanding how much cooling they need but thinking of making something with xml t6 and the question is, how much difference is it in heat output between cheap 10w leds from ebay vs xml t6 when driven with an equal amount of power?

Regards

You likely can't have too much cooling. Likely the t6 will produce less heat. Use a multimeter and use probe on the Star. Cooler, is better.
