Just another little update.. This is the Body Finishing stage.
It is done before any electronics are installed in the light.
I use lots of wet/dry sandpaper in the 150-600grit range to accomplish this task.
And just to let ya know why these take so long to do...
I spend about 2hrs or more for Each and Every body just putting on the Finish.
That doesnt include the 2-3hrs i spend on th Electronics and Main Seal.
Ohh, Don't forget that most of you wanted Trits installed
So there ya have it.. ALOT of work to put a smile on my fellow CPF members Faces
Ohh, I also have the Chimera Gen1 going up for sale this weekend. Its got some crazy striped bottom end
using beadblasting, With Satin stripes between them. The reason for this was to hide the little misteaks
that were made in the prototyping process.. Like a few screwholes that made it through to the backside.
I wanted to ask about $320.00 for it. Coolwhite, Permanent 2Gb memory card, Stonewashed Top Cover,
Moneyclip mounted for Bezel-Down Carry, Tripod/Cam Mount, And Green Glow behind the lens. Pics !!
Keep in mind that this is a Prototype, And NOT the production version. So the light isnt "Perfect"
I case you are wondering, The Cover Button, Seal, And Screws are Not installed.
Ohh, I did install a fresh battery in there too
If anyone is interested, Please shoot me a PM.
