Clarence D. Gillyard Jr. passed away

Clarence D Gillyard Jr. has passed away. He was a famous actor. You may have seen him in shows like Matlock and Walker Texas Ranger, and movies such as Top Gun, Left Behind, Karate Kid Part 2, and Die Hard. As a black man, he managed to greatly make many of the films and T.V. shows he was in better without being in the starring role, and he did it with a smile on his face. He was a gifted and talented man that didn't just end his life with acting. He was an associate professor in the College of Fine Arts- Department of Theatre at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He served as the consultant of the communications committee of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He died yesterday, a month before his 67th birthday. I know he's in heaven now, but earth is worse off by losing him.
