I recognize I'm probably missing something, but is there a pocket clip for the Aleph's?

If so, what tailcap, body, etc do they fit?

Bill,
What Mark said. I have just ordered some proto's of what I consider to be a more universal Ti clip but won't know how viable they will be until I get some. They will be an obvious merging of the original McLux clip with the one I am using on the PD. They will have a lift up and then return so that when mounted on a straight tube, there will be a "pocket" to them. The bad news from my point of reference is that they will be provided bent but without a radius on the mount section nor will they have a finished finish. Installing them will require some final detailing as well as preperation in terms of drilling and tapping of the host. One way or another, I hope to make them available at least to the modders and hopefully end user. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif It is my aim to spend more time on projects like these and less time on the keyboard. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Time to get off my butt! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Thanks Mark and Don!!

The clip issue is one of the reasons I haven't built more of the Alephs.

I love the two stage switch, but not having a clip gives me serious issues.

Hey Bill ... you could just use an E2e / E1e body with Aleph head and tail ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have installed quite a few pocket clips on Alephs. The ones that I use a stainless steel and I get them from a knife maker's supply site on the web. They do need some doctoring to fit the curvature of the light bodies, but aside from that, all they require is drilling and tapping.

I also have some Ti clips, but I don't have the time or patience to mess with the final finishing required on those.

I don't want to speak out of turn, but I did send a couple of these Ti clips to Ginseng, and what he did was very nice. Of course, I don't know that he'd be willing to do anymore of them, nor what he would charge.

Thanks all!!

Bernie,

I'm doing that now, would just prefer a more finished look, with better color matching.

Chop, PM sent.

Bill
