COMPATABILITY ?: Using 2X Tenergy 3.0v 16340 cells with a P60L (SureFire's older LED)

Have had the cells (30200 LiFeP04 750mAh) and the Tenergy charger using for a while in a camera, wondering if this is a reliable (vis-a-vis battery life) and SAFE! utilization in an older G2L (has metal bezel) + the tailcap from a 6P?

p.s. Any better suggestions for rechargeable 16340's? Didn't think it wise to go much over 6v on the SureFire P60L...

The rechargable cells sold by Surefire are LiFePO4 and they say that they are a direct replacement for CR123 in anything except an incan light.

The P60L is good up to 9 volts. Same module was in G3L.
I would check that your cells are of equal voltage after a charge.

Google search top of page for "P60L input voltage", you will find several hits on that search.

Thanks to all. Couldn't find the P60L's 9v spec for some reason. Looks like even 3 of those 3.0v cells would probably work OK.
