in plain english, TG it's a dot cpf group buy #1 M61N-4LLLL at 5000 kelvin in a 2cell natural hard annodized Vital Gear light. (I forget the model #).

Vital Gear were an E sized light set up for a P60 (or P90) back in the day. VME heads look awesome on them.

Please bear with me for this post and hopefully it'll answer some questions about Vital Gear.

A long time ago PK wanted to progress the lego ability of the SureFire E series. He colaborated with a light maker overseas to create a platform to house a P60 or P90 module in an E series body. Parts were available to convert an E light to P60 with an adapter. There were also LED drop in modules conceived. Bodies were available in 1, 2 or 3 cell configurations. Some clicky tailcap, and some using a twist head on/off. Oh, and there were bezel down short clips you could fasten to your E tailcap like the E defender or Scout tailcaps already drilled for a wrist lanyard. Coatings available were to be raw, hard anodized natural or hard anodized black. The lens of the head was convex polycarbonate. I'll add pix to the Mild or Wild Vital Gear thread.

Some complete lights were also available. I knew the M61N 4L 5k module used an XP-G, which provided a much wider spot than the 4K SST one so I took advantage of the domed lens of a Vital Gear light so the beam of the 5K would become a closer mimic to the to the 4k version in a flat lens'd light.

Mine arrived! I'm floored. We need this led in more malkoff lights. I'll have to wait for dark, but this looks great for around the house, dog walks etc. I'd love to see a full power M61 and an MDC with this led. Thanks dot! So far I have one in a G2 running on a 16650 and one in a G3 with primaries.
